THE JOURNEY
A route with room for you.
This northern touring idea suits riders arriving by ferry with their own motorcycle as well as those arranging a rental separately. It combines a coastal arrival with time around Potes and the Picos de Europa area. Rather than guaranteeing a particular high road, the plan keeps both mountain and coastal choices available.
This is an original planning outline for a tailored trip, not a road-verified track or a fixed-price departure. The final roads, distances, overnight stops and services are confirmed in your proposal.
Your suggested itinerary
Days 1–2 · Arrive on the coast
Allow for ferry or flight timing and start with a short coastal stage. Confirm rental availability before committing to the arrival city.
Days 3–4 · Potes & mountain country
Move inland with time for the gorge roads and a flexible day near the mountains. Weather and local access rules decide the final loop.
Days 5–6 · Asturias & a coastal return
Add an Asturias stage if your preferred pace allows, then return east through selected coastal towns. Keep a spare afternoon for a weather change.
Day 7 · Departure with a buffer
Keep the final leg short enough for ferry check-in or motorcycle return. Your quote should include any extra arrival or departure night.
Make the plan fit the rider.

Tell us if you travel with a passenger, prefer shorter riding hours or want an extra night in one place. We can discuss changes before an itemised quote is agreed. Navigation format, hotel parking and support contacts are part of the planning conversation.
